ACCOMPLISHMENTS
2019-20: Aaron had a Great start to his season but was slowed by injuries. He has all the ingredients to have success in Division II. He completed his redshirt campaign with a 10-3 record. Finished 1st in the Kaufman/ Brand/Bayly Open, also earning the Outstanding Wrestler award for his performance. Aaron also placed second in the LU Open. He earned Wrestler of the Week and OOOSSS Award honors two times and is awarded the Staying Power Award for his performance. The "Big Fella" just needs to put it all together to have success.

HIGH SCHOOL
The Maryville Wrestling Team would like to welcome Freshman, Aaron Herman, from St. Clair High School, St. Clair, MO. Aaron and Ryan become the 31st set of brothers that Coach Denney has Coached and his first set of twins in his 50 years of Coaching. “We feel like Ryan and Aaron are a “Great Fit” for our Wrestling Program and Maryville University. They both were a “Positive Force” during their Outstanding Careers at St. Clair High School and can have the same impact for our Wrestling Program at Maryville University. They are Quality young men who are “Leaders by Example”. We are pleased that Ryan and Aaron and their Family have decided to become part of our Maryville Wrestling Family.

•State Champion at 285 lbs as a senior

•Won 17 Tournaments during his career
•Received the Supreme Achiever Award and the Outstanding Senior Wrestler Award from the St. Louis Officials Assoc.
•Selected by the Missouri Wrestling Assoc. as the District and State Wrestler of the Year
