ACCOMPLISHMENTS
2020-21(COVID Shortened Season)
: Anthony has been a two-year starter for us and received the following awards. 3X NWCA Scholar All-American, NWCA DII All-Academic Team National Champion, 4X Dr. Lombardi Saint Award, Rebound Power Award, 3X Varsity Letter Award, DII Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award, 4X GLVC All-Academic. Anthony was a big part in helping the team win its 4th consecutive NWCA DII All-Academic Team National Championship. Anthony was slowed by an ankle injury, but Rebounded to finish strong at the NCAA DII Super Regional Tournament. He is a “Positive Force” for us and will be a force in this coming season in DII wrestling. His Experience and Leadership will be relied on and needed.

2019-20: Anthony had his Best year and gained valuable experience. The "Best is Yet to Come" for him because of that experience and because he has all the Right Stuff to have an Impact in Division II. He finished his RS-Sophomore campaign a 12-13 record, and a 2-5 dual record. He placed 3rd at the Kaufman/Brand/Bayly Open and 4th at the NCAA Regional tournament and earned Wrestler of the Week and OOOSSS Award honors three times. Anthony earned the Dr. Lombardi Saint Award (3x), the Outstanding RS-Sophomore Award, the Most Improved Award, Most Tech Falls (4), the NWCA Scholar All-American Award for the second time, is a two-time Varsity Letter Award winner, is an NWCA DII All- Academic Team National Champion, the Staying Power Award, the Rebounding Power Award, was selected for the Div. II Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award, and was elected to the Geico GLVC Team Academic All-Conference team for the third time. "Timberwolf" is a "Leader by Example" and a "Positive Force” for us.

2018-19: Anthony “Timberwolf” Pisciotta has all of the right ingredients to excel in NCAA DII wrestling. Competing at 125 lbs, Anthony’s calm and relaxed
style helped him to place 5th at the Kaufman/Brand/Bayly Open, 7th at the Lindenwood Open, 6th at the Jim Koch Open, and 6th at the Greyhound Open. Again this
year, Anthony earned the award for Most Tech Falls, he recorded his first varsity tech fall in the dual meet against Kentucky Wesleyan. He earned a Varsity Letter Award, the Jim “Bongo” Bayly Iron Discipline Warrior Award, and his second Dr. Lombardi Saint Award. Anthony’s discipline\ in the classroom aided in him also earning the NWCA Scholar All-American Award. For his performances, Anthony was voted a Wrestler of the Week and an OOOSSS Award winner six times. Still an underclassman,
the future is bright for Timberwolf. He makes our Dojo a much “Better Place”.

2017-18: Anthony has come in as a true freshman and had an impact on the mat and in the classroom for us but the Best is Yet to Come for him. He has all the “right stuff” to have an impact in Division II Wrestling. He competed in 6 opens this season wrestling unattached. Anthony picked up 16 victories on the season and placed in four of the open tournaments. He recorded the Most Technical Falls (5) and was named as one of the Outstanding Redshirts. Anthony placed 5th at the Kaufman/Brand/Bayly Open, 7th at the Greyhound Open, 4th at the Pat “Flash” Flanagan Open, and Runner Up at the Doane Open. Anthony wins the Jim “Bongo” Bayly Iron Discipline Award and GRIT Award. Anthony is a grea tstudent and picks up the Dr. Lombardi Saint Award. He is an Academic Dean’s List Student. He was named the Wrestler of the Week four times and OOOSSS Award Winner once this season. Anthony is expected to challenge for the starting position next season at 125 or 133 pounds.

Anthony was a standout in high school. A 4 Year Varsity Starter he was a two-time Missouri State Finalist. He finished his career as a 3x MO State Placer (5th, 2nd, 2nd) and was a 2- time GAC Conference Champion.
