Maryville University Athletics

2014-2015: Redshirted this season. Went 5-11 wrestling unattached. Hardworking youngster, eager to contribute who will only contin­ue to improve with more experience. Wrestled in five opens. Went 3-3 at Maryville’s Kaufman/Brand Open to place sixth. Earned one of Maryville’s Wrestler of the Week Award for his performance at Kaufman/Brand Open.

High School: Ben recorded a 78-28 high school record while qualifying for the Missouri High School State Championships twice and winning a Regional Championship as a senior. Ben also tabbed two Missouri State High School Greco-Roman Championships and one Freestyle State Championship and served as a member of the Missouri Junior National Dual Team in both Greco and Freestyle. Ben earned three varsity letters in wrestling while competing for Coach Dustin Martin at Nixa High School. In addition to Ben’s accolades in wrestling he was also a two year letter winner in football. As a senior Ben earned All-Conference Honors as well as All-District and All-Area.
