Morgan joins the Saints as an assistant coach after a very successful collegiate career at Maryville University. He was a 4 year aletterman at 197/285 lbs for the Saints. He is a valuable addition to the coaching staff working with the heavier weight classes. He brings a work ethic and experience to the room.

2014-15: One of two seniors on this season’s squad. Stepped in when starter Donnell Walker was injured. Went 4-9 (2-1 in duals). Was 2-1 at Dr. Mark Lombardi Duals. Won a 5-1 decision over IndianapÂolis’s Jared Boehm to help Maryville win 27-12. Came up big with a fall in the 26-12 victory over Ouachita Baptist Blake Andrews in 1:47. Finished 1-2 at NCAA Super Region Tournament. His points helped Maryville win their first ever Super Regional Tournament ChampionÂship. He won by a 8-5 decision over Dustin Caspers of Northern State. Also competed at Lindenwood and Maryville’s Kaufman/Brand Open. Earned Maryville’s wrestler of the week for the Lombardi Duals and the Super Regional Tournament. Earned team’s OOOSSS Award for his performance in the Dr. Lombardi duals and at the Super Regional Tournament.
2013-2014: One of the original transfers who helped lay the foundation for Maryville Wrestling, a 3 year starter who showed great discipline in moving down to 197 from Hwt for the team. He has shown discipline and perseverance in dealing with adversity during this year and during his career, placed 5th at the Kaufman/Brand Tournament, selected Wrestler of the Week 2 times, OOOSSS Award Winner once, selected as top Outstanding Junior Scholar and received the Rebounding Power Award, earned his 3rd Letter.
2012-2013: went 12-16 (2-5 duals)…placed 3rd at William Penn Open going 5-1…came up big in Lindenwood dual with a 3-1 overtime victory to help secure the Saints 21-13 win…had a match clintching 16-1 technical fall win to record 4 point to give the Saints a 22-21 comeback victory over Ouachita Baptist…was Maryville Wrestler of the Week for his performances at William Penn, Lindenwood, and Ouachita Baptist… OOOSSS Award winner for his outstanding wins in Lindenwood and Ouachita Baptists duals…went 1-2 NCAA regionals
2011-12: Finished 16-20…Wrestler of the Week (three times)… OOOSSS Award Winner for third place performance in William Penn Open…Lettered for first time.

High School: : A 2009 graduate of Millard South HS…a four-time place-winner in Nebraska Class A State Tournament…was state champion his junior and senior year…placed third as a sophomore and fourth as a freshman…compiled a 159-27 career record including a 86-8 mark in his last two seasons…Class A Wrestler of the Year for 2008-09…honorable mention All-American by USA Wrestling Magazine…GreaterOmaha Sports Committee Wrestler of the Year…Judo Cornhusker State Champion...was coached by his father, Doug Denson.
