2018-19: The season looked like it was going to be a breakout season for Dustin when he opened with two 6th place finishes at the Kaufman/Brand/Bayly Open and the Lindenwood Open. Dustin was competing at the Jim Koch Open and was 2-0 on the day when he suffered a season ending injury. The “Caveman” was competing at 285 lbs and finished the year with a 7-4 record. Dustin beat John McConkey (University Northern Iowa) 6-3 before his season was cut short. Dustin won the Wrestler of the Week and OOOSSS Award two times during the season. He wins his third Varsity Letter Award and the Jim “Bongo” Bayly Iron Discipline Warrior Award. Dustin received the Staying Power Award for his example of staying strong and having the work power, commitment and discipline to get through adversity. The “Best is Yet to Come” for Dustin.”

2017-18: Dustin had an impact this year and will have a bigger impact next year in Division II wrestling because
of his Work Power, Commitment and experience. The Best is Yet to Come for him. He battled various injuries wrestling at 197 pounds this season. When healthy Dustin was a force to be reckoned with. He went 6-3 in dual meets and picked up Runner-Up finishes at the Jim Koch Open and the Pat “Flash” Open where Dustin defeated two University of Iowa opponents with a pin of Cade Brownlee in 1:54 and a 3-2 decision over Sam Cook to place 2nd. Dustin finished the season with 12 victories and was named to the GLVC Wrestling All-Conference Second Team. Dustin earns his second Varsity Letter Award. He picks up the Rebounding Power Award, Jim “Bongo” Bayly Iron Discipline Award, and GRIT Award for his performance this season. Dustin was selected the Wrestler of the Week four times and the OOOSSS Award Winner three times for the year.

2016-17: Dustin competed at 197 pounds weight class this season. He placed in two tournaments and had a 9-5 record on the season. He placed 4th at the Jim Koch Wisconsin Open going 4-2 and placed 5th at the Doane Open going 4-1. Dustin earned his first Varsity Letter Award this season and was named Maryville Wrestler of the Week two times. Dustin is one of our young and up-coming wrestlers that is looking to make an immediate impact for the Saints during the 2017-18 season.

2015-16: Had an outstanding redshirt year placing in the top six in every open tournament he wrestled in. Won The Outstanding Redshirt Award. Wrestled unattached in four open tournaments. Placed Fifth at the Maryville Kaufman/Brand Open (Amateur) with a 4-2 record. Placed Sixth at the Joe Parisi Open (Black Division) and had a 5-1 record. Placed Fourth at the Wisconsin Open with a 4-2 record. He placed Fourth at the Northern Iowa Open and had a 3-2 record. He had seven pins and two tech falls during the season. His fastest pin was in 52 seconds. He finished the season 16-7 and captured the team’s Wrestler of the Week Award four times and the OOOSSS Award once.

High School: Dustin is a three-time Missouri State Wrestling Place Finisher. Dustin finished 2nd as a Sophomore, State Champion as a Junior and finished 2^nd as a Senior. Selected to the Missouri Dream Team as a Senior. Dustin is also a USA Wrestling All-American. Dustin is also a USA Wrestling Folkstyle National Champion. He also helped lead the Missouri Team to a Disney Duals 2nd Place Team Finish.
