ACCOMPLISHMENTS
2019-20: When you have a Leader like Logan "Ironson" Radik you know you are going somewhere. He is a "Positive Force" for us who "Leads by Example" on and off the mat. He finished his RS-Junior campaign with a 21-12 record, and a 5-3 dual record. Finished 4th at the LU Open, 2nd at the Jim Koch Open, 2nd at the Pat "Flash" Flanagan Open, and 5th at the NCAA Regional tournament. Logan earned the Wrestler of the Week and OOOSSS Award honors seven times. Logan earned the Dr. Lombardi Saint Award (3x), the Outstanding RS-Junior Award, the NWCA Scholar All-American Award (3x), the Varsity Letter Award (3x), the Rebounding Power Award, is an NWCA DII All-Academic Team National Champion, was selected for the Div. II Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award, and was elected to the Geico GLVC Team Academic All- Conference team for the fourth time. He Motivates and Inspires our Team and Coaches with his Work Power and Character. He is due to have a Big Impact in Division II.
2018-19: Logan is one of the most improved wrestlers on our team. The work power, dedication, commitment, and discipline he brings to the Dojo and competition each day is commendable. Logan’s hard work was evident as he finished the season with 28 wins and an outstanding performance at the NCAA Super Region Qualifier finishing 2nd, earning a trip to the NCAA Championships. He finished 7th at the Lindenwood Open, 1st at the Jim Koch Open, 1st at the Pat “Flash” Flanagan
Open, and 2nd at the NCAA Super Region IV Tournament. He finished 10-4 in dual meet competition. He received the Most Improved Award, the Outstanding Redshirt Sophomore Award, the 25-Match Winner Award with 28 wins during the season, his second Varsity Letter award, the Jim “Bongo” Bayly Iron Discipline Warrior Award, the NCAA Division II National Qualifier Award, the Dr. Lombardi Saint Award (his second), and the Iron Man Award for competing in every competition. He was selected to the GLVC All-Conference 2nd Team by the GLVC coaches. Logan is a Dean’s List student carrying a 3.584 cumulative GPA. He was selected as an NWCA Scholar All-American for the second consecutive year. He had a big part in helping the team win the NWCA Division II Academic National Championship for the second time. He earned the Wrestler of the Week and OOOSSS Award eight times during the season. Logan definitely makes our Dojo a “Better Place”. He is one of the OOOSSS Men that the team looks to for leadership.
2017-18: Logan has all the right ingredients to have success in Division II Wrestling. He is a leader who leads by example for our Team. He gained valuable experience this season. The Best is Yet to Come for him. He earn his first Varsity Letter Award in his redshirt freshman year with 9 victories on the season. He competed in 6 open
tournaments and placed 2nd at the Kaufman/Brand/Bayly Open to start the season. The next weekend Logan went 4-2 at the Lindenwood Open recording 2 falls with a :48 second fall over Favela of Benedictine College. During the Pat “Flash” Flanagan Open Logan suffered an injury that would require several weeks of rehab. He bounced back to compete in 5 duals for the Saints. Logan is a very athletic heavyweight who is dedicated to his weight lifting program. He continues to improve each season and will be competing for the starting spot in 2018-19. Logan is an accomplished student earning NWCA All Academic honors and the Dr. Lombardi Saint Award for his work in the classroom. He is an Academic Dean’s List Student. He picks up the Rebounding Power Award, Jim “Bongo” Bayly Iron Discipline Award and the GRIT Award while being named Wrestler of the Week three times and the OOOSSS Award Winner once.
2016-17: Logan competed at 285lbs and is another wrestler of the Family Tradition recruits. Logan’s father, Dan, wrestled for Coach Denney and was a Two-Time All-American. His father earned the nickname the Iron Man. Logan wrestled unattached going 12-10, recording 3 pins and a major decision. He placed fourth at the Kaufman/Brand Open Amateur Division going 4-2 and won two matches by tie-breaker. Logan went 3-2 at the Joe Parisi Open and did not place. At the Wisconsin Open, Logan won one and lost two matches. Logan came home to Nebraska and competed at the Doane Open where he went 2-2. He closed the season by wrestling in the Indianapolis Greyhound Open going 2-2, with a fall and a major decision. Logan was named Maryville Wrestler of the Week once. Logan is a very athletic heavyweight and is looking to make an immediate impact for the wrestling Saints during the 2017-18 season. Logan is the son of Dan and Kim Radik. Logan wrestled for his father at Gretna High School in Gretna Nebraska, where he was a State Champion. Logan’s father, Dan Radik, also wrestled for Coach Denney. Dan was a 2 X All-American.

Logan was a 2016 Nebraska Class B State Champion at 220 lbs and a 3X State Medalist (3rd, 2nd, 1st). Logan also held the Class B Nebraska High School wrestling record for most wins in a season (57). Logan had 57-1 record his Senior year and 33 of his wins were falls. Logan had only 9 losses his last three seasons in High School.
