2009-10: Redshirted his first season with the Mavs...named UNO Wrestler of the Week two times.

High School: Four-time Nebraska state qualifier...won state title at 285 pounds as a senior in 2008...placed sixth at 215 pounds in both 2006 and 2007...led team to a third place finish at the 2007 Nebraska state tournament and two district championships...wrestled for team Nebraska in the 2006 Disney Duals...earned honorable mention all-state honors in football leading Valentine to three district titles and to a state runner-up finish in 2006...selected to the East-West All-Star football game and to the Shrine Bowl...also lettered in baseball and golf..father, Jeff, lettered for the Mavericks in 1982.
