ACCOMPLISHMENTS
2021-22: Sam‘s nickname is “Scrappy”. He has earned that nickname with his toughness, resilience and work power. He has demonstrated that he can overcome adversity. Sam will continue to improve and get better as a College Wrestler because he has the right stuff to do that.

HIGH SCHOOL
”Sam is a two sport athlete who has had an Outstanding career at
All Saints Episcopal High School. We think Sam is a Great Fit for our Wrestling Program and Maryville University. He has done all the extra work to have success. He has consistently Wrestled over a 100 matches in the off-season. We welcome Sam to our Wrestling Program. We are pleased to have him and his family join our Maryville Wrestling Family”.

•3X TAPPS Conference Champion at 106 lbs, 113 lbs and 120 lbs.
•2X Team Most Valuable Wrestler.
•3X Team Captain.
•2nd 2020 Lone Star Nationals at 120 lbs.
•2nd Houston Nationals at 120 lbs.
•3rd 2019 Texas Freestyle State Championships.
•Selected Academic All-American.
•2X Upper Room Award for Wrestling (it is an Award for Leadership and Accountability).
•Awarded the Blue and White Award for Wrestling (an Award for always helping his teammates and making sure they are ok and working hard).
•Awarded the Blue and White Award for Cross Country.
•Selected Team Captain and was Selected Rookie of the Year as a Freshman at a Public School.
