ACCOMPLISHMENTS
2016-17: Travis finished his senior year as a three time NWCA All-Academic Team selection. He received the Dr. Mark Lombardi Saint Award the fourth time for his performance on the mat and in the classroom. He is a three time Varsity Letter Award winner. He was a Senior Captain. He placed fifth at the Jim Koch Wisconsin open and sixth at the Greyhound Open. He was injured in the Greyhound Open and was unable to compete for the rest of the season. He earned the team’s Wrestler of the Week Award two times.

2015-16: A two time NWCA All-Academic Team selection, two year Letterman, selected Outstanding Sophomore, received the Dr. Mark Lombardi Saint Award. Started two matches at National Duals. He also wrestled against Central Oklahoma and Ft. Hays State. He saw action in five tournaments. Was slowed by a late season injury. Placed Second at the Wisconsin Open and Fourth at the Northern Iowa Open. Selected Wrestler of the Week three times and was winner of the team’s OOOSSS Award once.

2014-15: Earned his first Academic All American honor by being named second team. Has 3.25 GPA in marketing. Highly regarded sophomore coming back from injury and started to show what he can do. Went 24-11 (0-1 in duals). Wrestled in University of Central Missouri Open (sixth), Lindenwood (20 + U) 2nd, Kaufman/Brand (2nd), William Penn (3rd), Missouri Valley Open (3rd). Helped Saints win Midwest Classic going 3-2 and placing seventh. Went 4-1 at Missouri Valley Invitational to finish third. Tied for team lead with 13 falls with the fastest coming in 39 seconds. Named
Maryville Wrestler of the Week seven times. Was winner of the teams OOOSSS Award four times during the season.

2013-14: Coming off his redshirt season, had a great start when he injured his elbow it cost him the rest of the season, he is the ultimate student athlete with all the right ingredients to be a contender in Division II, a Positive Force on the team, has demonstrated perseverance and a great work ethic, selected Wrestler of the Week once, OOOSSS Award Winner once, received the Outstanding Freshman Scholar Award.

2012-13: Red-shirt wrestled unattached going 6-6 in 3 open tournaments before sidelined. Injured his knee and had to have surgery, that kept him off the mats for rest of the season. Did win Maryville Wrestling Scholar Award for redshirts with 3.83 GPA.

High School: Academic All American honors in high school. Travis is a 4X Missouri Stat Placer while winning 3 Missouri State Titles. Travis is also a USA Wrestling All American with a runner-up finish at Folkstyle Nationals as a senior.
