2018-19: Tristan’s commitment to a more disciplined lifestyle paid dividends in a successful redshirt freshman campaign. Wrestling in the varsity lineup at 149 lbs,
Tristan recorded dual meet wins against Ouachita Baptist, Truman State, and Kentucky Wesleyan. A fiery part of the Maryville Wrestling Family, Tristan also finished
5th at the Greyhound Open. Tristan earned the Most Improved Award, Varsity Letter Award, the Rebounding Power Award, and the Jim “Bongo” Bayly Iron Discipline
Warrior Award. For his performances, Tristan was voted a Wrestler of the Week and OOOSSS Award winner. With continued hard work and sacrifice, Tristan will mold himself into a successful wrestler for the Maryville program. His work power and enthusiasm are contagious on our team.

2017-18: Tristan was slowed by injuries this season which cost him time on the mat but he is using his Work Power and Commitment during the off season to improve and be ready for next year. He competed in 2 opens this season wrestling unattached. Tristan provided solid competition in the practice room. His injuries have held him back but when healthy he will become a valuable back up next season. Tristan picks up the Jim “Bongo” Bayly Iron Discipline Award for this year.
