Biography

Will Roark IS from Seneca, Missouri, and comes to Maryville University after transferring from the University of Missouri, where he wrestled the last two years. He wrestled at Seneca High School, Seneca, Missouri for Jeff Sill, a former National Champion for Coach Denney.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
•A three-time State Champion
•2nd in State as a freshman 
•Finished with 155 consecutive victories 
•His 214 career wins in high school set a Missouri State Wrestling Record 
•Placed 2nd at the 2015 Flo Nationals 
•Finished 3rd at the 2014 USAW Folk-style Nationals 
Will's College accomplishments: 
•Was 18-5 as a redshirt his freshman year and won three Open Tournament Championships at 141 lbs, the Maryville Kaufman/Brand Amateur Division, the UCM Open and the Roger Denker Open
•Finished his redshirt freshman year with at 5-3 record and a 5th place finish at the Lindenwood Open before a shoulder injury sidelined him for the rest of the season

I came to Maryville because: I want to become a national champion while also getting a great education that will help me have success in the future.

Something people don’t know about me: I love scenery and taking or looking at photos.
10 years from now: I will have a nice family and hopefully be winning state titles as a wrestling coach.
