Austin DeBoer returned to the Maryville University athletic training staff March 2021. He comes back to assist the Saints staff after spending nearly four years as the athletic trainer at Lewisville High School in Texas.
DeBoer first joined Maryville in August 2012. He graduated from Drake University in 2012 with a masters degree in public administration, health care management.
While in Des Moines, DeBoer worked with the Bulldogs football and men's basketball teams and served as the primary ATC for the women's soccer, softball, women's crew and cheerleading squads.
DeBoer earned a bachelor of science in athletic training from the University of North Dakota. His sport responsibilites with UND included men's ice hockey, football, men's basketball and volleyball. DeBoer also worked at the UND Center for Sports Medicine Clinic.
