Rebekah McCullough

Rebekah (Roessler) McCullough was named an assistant athletic trainer the summer of 2019. She comes to Maryville after graduating with her master’s degree from Georgia Southern University. McCullough’s master thesis project at GSU was titled “Pain, Severity and Attentional Capacity Following Acute Musculoskeletal Injury.”
 
As a graduate assistant at Georgia Southern, McCullough provided emergency care, evaluation, clinical diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitative services for all recreational, intramural, and club sports. She developed and administered rehabilitation protocals for post-surgical patients. McCullough assisted in coordinating, facilitating, and instructing First Aid and CPR/AED classes for nearly 400 Campus Recreation & Intramural employees. At GSU, she served as a teaching assistant for clinical skills in Athletic Training I and II.
 
While an undergraduate student at Truman State, McCullough worked with various Bulldog squads, including the baseball, football, track and field, and volleyball teams. She also spent one year as an athletic training student at Kirksville High School.
 
A native of St. Peters, Mo., McCullough graduated from Truman State in 2017 with a degree in athletic training.
