Nick Burghardt went 5-0 to win the 184-pound division and help Maryville bring home the team title at the 2014 Midwest Classic in Indianapolis. Burghardt had a fall and major decision to open the tournament. He recorded a 5-0 shutout in the quarterfinals and won his semifinal match 4-2. In the championship match, Burghardt defeated Terrence Smith of Shorter 3-1 to win the title.
