Zeb Wahle claimed the Super Region 3 championship at 174 pounds as he posted a perfect 4-0 record to advance to the National Championships March 13-14 at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis. He started his tournament with a fall at the 1:13 mark, and eased to an 8-2 win in the quarterfinals. On day two, Wahle posted an 8-2 decision in the semifinals and won the division with a 7-5 victory over Jacob Begin of Southwest Minnesota State.
