Louis Niemerg hit .500 with seven hits in 14 at-bats. He capped his week with a walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning that gave the Saints a 4-3 win in the Drury series finale. In the first game against DU, Niemerg singled, walked and scored a run. He went 3-for-3 in the second game of the series, scored three times and launched a homer in the game two win. Niemerg singled in game three of the Drury series before his dramatic blast in the finale. He went 2-for-4 and had an RBI single that scored Maryville’s third run of the game before launching the walk-off homer for a series win.
