Tyler Kreith qualified for the 2019 Division II Wrestling National Championships at the 125-pound classification. As the third seed at the Super Region, he opened with a major and then defeated No. 2 seed and the fourth ranked wrestler in the nation. In the finals, Kreith matched up against No. 1 Carlos Jacquez and forced overtime before getting narrowly edged for the Regional title.
