At the John Craft Invitational hosted by Eastern Illinois, Don Jackson set a school record and reached the NCAA Provisional mark in the high jump at 6-feet-10 3/4 inches to win the event. He also broke the previous school best in the long jump with a leap of 23-feet-6.
