Green keyed the Saints attack as Maryville went 4-1 on the week, including opening conference play 5-0 for the first time in program history. He drove in a run and worked at least one walk in every game last week. Green hit .417 with five hits, including two doubles, had seven RBIs and scored four times. He had nine walks and stole two bases and handled nine chances, including recording two outfield assists, without an error.
At McKendree in a non-conference game, he drove in a run and walked three times as the Saints won 5-3. In the series opener against Indianapolis, he had two hits, drove in three runs, including the eventual game winner, and scored twice. In game two against the Greyhounds, Green singled in a run, scored a run and stole two bases. In game three versus Indianapolis, Green had the walk off double in the bottom of the 12th inning as the Saints rallied for a thrilling 4-3 win. He also walked three times and scored one run. In the finale of the UIndy series, Green singled in a run and walked.
