2012 Saints Cup Results

For the second year in a row the Maryville Saints men’s golf Alumni team prevailed over the current Saints team in the 2012 Saints Cup matches at on a breezy, cold day at Aberdeen Golf Club in Eureka, Mo. The final score was 14.5 to 9.5 in favor of the alums.
 
The matches were close until late in the day when the Alumni team put on a charge and swung several key games in their favor. The Alumni team was led by the pairing of Brian Bashwiner/Ryne Frank who swept all three points. The pairings of Sam Carlson/Tony Skurat and Mike Kile/Kyle Schmitz each contributed 2.5 points. The current Saints team received notable contributions from Kenny Evischi (2.5 points) and the pairings of Coach Green/Aaron Hawkins and Alex Doneff/Tyler Tieman, each earning 1.5 points. This was the seventh playing of the Saints Cup Matches, and the current Saints lead the Saints Alumni 5-2.
