Abby Duethman recorded a double-double with 18 points and tied her career high with 16 rebounds as the Maryville women’s team recorded its fourth straight victory with a 62-55 win over visiting Lincoln. The Saints used a late 10-0 run to take control of the game.

Kate Childs broke loose for a wide-open 3-pointer and a 43-39 edge. Lincoln would not let the Saints stretch the lead and trailed just 50-49 with 5:39 remaining. The teams traded baskets before the Saints put on the final rush. Duethman started the 10-0 run with two free throws, and Miller scored on a layup. McSparron sank two from the line and added a bucket along the baseline. Two free throws by Childs closed out the run for a 62-51 lead as Maryville moved to 5-3 on the season.
Duethman hit 7-of-12 shots to go along with three blocked shots. The game marked the fourth time in her career she has hauled down 16 rebounds in a game. McSparron added 15 points for Maryville. Arriana Walker topped Lincoln (5-4) with 15 points. The Saints break for the holiday and are not in action again until they travel to Florida Southern Sunday, Dec. 30.
