Samantha Robison tallied 18 points to lead four Maryville players in double figures as the Saints posted a 71-61 road win at Lincoln. Robison hit 7-of-12 shots to help the Saints snap a two-game road losing skid.

The Saints trailed 10-9 before
Alex Hillyer scored on two straight layups to spark an 11-0 burst for Maryville.
Erica Lorton hit a layup, and Robison tallied in the lane. Robison hit one free throw and converted from close to push the Saints ahead 20-10. The Blue Tigers chipped away at their deficit and closed to 27-23 but the Saints closed the half with a rush.
Shelby Miller converted a three-point play, and
Jordynn Martin tacked on a hoop. Robison hit a 3-pointer just before halftime to give the Saints a 35-23 lead at the break.

The Saints kept the lead in double digits and were still up 41-30 four minutes into the second half. Robison hit a layup, and Martin drained a 3-pointer for a 46-30 advantage.
Rita Flynn scored back-to-back buckets as the Saints took their biggest lead of the game 54-36 with just over 10 minutes to play. The Maryville edge stood at 13 before the Blue Tigers made one final run in the waning moments. Lincoln scored six straight but Martin hit two free throws to stem the tide. Still up seven, Robison drilled a 3-pointer and Miller hit four free throws down the stretch to put the game away.

Robison hit three of her four shots from deep en route to her 18 points. Flynn finished with 14 points and six rebounds, while Miller added 13 points, six rebounds and six assists. Martin chipped in 10 points, while Lorton led the team in rebounding with eight. Jackeya Mitchell led Lincoln (1-4) with 14 points. The Saints forced the Blue Tigers into 29 turnovers and improved to 3-2 on the year.

Maryville is next in action Sunday, Dec. 1, as the Saints welcome Oakland City to Moloney Arena for a 1 p.m. game.
