Kevin Eggert scored with 42 seconds remaining in the game to boost Indianapolis past Maryville 3-2 in Great Lakes Valley Conference action Friday afternoon. The game winner spoiled two tallies by the Saints.

Bogdan Atanasov gave the Saints the lead in the 20th minute during the run of play. Nick Doherty and Lance Kohler strung together passes up the right side, and Doherty served a pass to the far side. Atanasov drilled it into the left side of the net for a 1-0 Saints advantage. UIndy had two great scoring chances by Ngwese Ebangwese but Saints goalie Josh Richter made two dazzling saves, including one in the final minute of the half to keep Maryville ahead 1-0.

In the 55th minute of play, the Greyhounds drew even when Eggert scored off a scramble following a corner kick. Indianapolis doubled its lead when Reid Strain found the back of the net in the 66th minute for a 2-1 margin. Less than a minute later, Lance Kohler brought the Saints level when he rocketed in a shot from the top of the box to forge a 2-2 tie. The Saints looked to jump back ahead but it was the visitors who stuck in the final minute. Ebangwese crossed a ball, which deflected off a Maryville defender, from the right edge, and Eggert's shot nicked a defender as it went into the Maryville net for the winner.

The Saints slip to 0-4 overall, 0-3 in the GLVC. The Greyhounds improve to 3-1-1, 2-0-1. Maryville is back in action Sunday when Saint Joseph's visits.
