Box Score No. 13 Lewis scored twice in each half to hand Maryville a 4-0 defeat Friday evening in Romeoville, Ill., in a Great Lakes Valley Conference matchup.

The Flyers scored the only goal they would need in the third minute of play. Kory Clawson nearly pulled the Saints even in the 39th minute but his shot was saved by Lewis keeper Alec Pickett. The Flyers doubled their lead late in the half and settled for a 2-0 margin at the break.

Early in the second half, Bogdan Atanasov had his shot turned aside two minutes after the break as Lewis kept its 2-0 cushion. The Flyers sealed the win with two tallies later in the half to remain unbeaten on the season.

The Saints return to the field Sunday as they travel to Wisconsin-Parkside for another league contest.
