The No. 23 Maryville wrestling squad picked up two Great Lakes Valley Conference dual match wins Saturday in Springfield, Mo. The Saints defeated host Drury 36-12 and eased past Truman State 42-12 later in the day.

Against Drury,
Kolby Smith and
James Krischke won by forfeits to give the Saints the early advantage.
Michael Cook posted a fall in 4:00 to win at 133, while
Kade Smith recorded his fall at 141 in just 1:49.
Matt Pratt emerged with a 7-5 win in SV-1 at 157, and
Tyler Harrington picked up a 4-1 decision at 174.
Bailey Kelly pinned his 184 foe at the 3:17 mark.

Versus Truman State, the Saints rolled with three falls and two tech falls. Kolby Smith won via a walkover, while
Taylor Jokerst picked up a quick fall in just 33 seconds at 133. Kade Smith continued his strong week with a 16-0 tech fall in 4:29. At 149, Krischke picked up a pin in 2:16, while Pratt won via a forfeit at 157. Nick McGhee rolled to a 16-1 tech fall in just 2:36 at 165. Harrington won his 174 bout in a forfeit, while Kelly recorded a pin in 48 seconds to take his match at 184. The only points Truman State won were on forfeits as the Saints won every match that was contested on the mat.
The Saints are back in action with two more league dual matches Saturday, Jan. 27, at McKendree. Maryville faces the No. 6 host Bearcats at Noon and third-ranked Wisconsin-Parkside at 2 p.m.
