In the season finale, Maryville volleyball lost a three-set decision to city-rival University of Missouri-St. Louis in three sets. The Tritons triumphed 25-19, 25-16, 25-16. In her final match for the Saints, lone senior
Taylor Luebbers finished with five digs and added one assist.

What Happened
The Saints roared out to the early lead, and
Cassidy Arndt's kill was down for a 6-3 lead. The Tritons answered with five straight points to jump ahead. The Saints scored two straight points to force an 8-8 tie. UMSL inched ahead and kept a narrow edge. Maryville was as close as 20-18 but could never trim the deficit to just one point.

In the second, Maryville moved ahead with the first three points. After an UMSL error,
Faith Ahlhardt had a kill, and a
Kayla Buxton ace closed the run. The set was tied at 7-7 until the Tritons went on a 3-0 burst. Ahlhardt's kill ended the UMSL run. The Tritons scored five of the next six points to take control of the second.

For the third straight set, the Saints took the early lead. After a
Liz Eardly kill, Arndt followed. Eardly notched a solo block for a 3-1 lead. UMSL tied the set and went up by one before
Natalia Pia and Eardly had a block for a 7-7 tie. However, the Tritons scored six straight points. Eardly had a kill to halt the UMSL run at 13-8. A block by Ahlhardt and Eardly with an UMSL error brought the Saints to 13-10. Maryville was still only down 14-11 but UMSL used a 3-0 run to take control.
