Summary
The Maryville men's lacrosse had its two-game winning streak end as Rockhurst scored seven straight goals to down the Saints 19-5 Saturday afternoon. Zach Steltzer led Maryville with two goals.
                                                                         
What Happened
The Hawks tallied in the opening minute of play before Ty Wenck cranked in his first score of the game to forge a 1-1 tie at the 12:03 mark. Rockhurst closed the quarter with a 4-1 lead and built the advantage to 8-1 before Parker Lee scored late in the first half to pull the Saints to 8-2.
 
The Saints were still down before Steltzer fired in two man-up goals within 39 seconds to trim the deficit to 12-4. Rockhurst pushed its advantage but Tristan Snellgrove tallied his team-leading eighth score of the year.
