Summary
Maryville had a strong first quarter at No. 8 Colorado-Mesa but the Mavericks used a strong second quarter en route to an 11-5 win Thursday in Grand Junction, Colo. Jack Kilibarda scored two goals for the Saints.

What Happened
The Mavericks scored the first goal but Kilibarda answered less than minute later. CMU retook a 2-1 lead but the Saints had the answer when Jai Benson found the back of the net. The home team again took the lead but Kilibarda scored his second of the night to tie the game 3-3. However, the Mavericks scored two more times in the first and scored all four goals in the second to take a 9-3 lead at halftime.

Parker Lee finally got the Saints back on the scoreboard with a man-up goal midway in the third quarter. The Saints stayed close and cut the gap on Tristan Snellgrove's team-leading 14 goal of the season. However, Maryville was unable to get any closer as the Mavericks stayed unbeaten on the year.
