Coming off a win over nationally-ranked Rockhurst, the Maryville men's tennis team posted its second straight Great Lakes Valley Conference triumph with a 5-0 decision over William Jewell Saturday afternoon. Due to weather, the match was contested at Vetta West courts in St. Charles, Mo.

Juan Segura and
Louis Glaves battled for an 8-6 decision at the No. 1 doubles position.
Fernando De Andres Orea and
Donovan McKnight posted an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles.
Bodin Aleksic and
Jack Beuttell-Triggs took their No. 3 doubles competition with the same 8-4 score as the Saints swept the doubles points.

Segura eased to a 6-2, 6-1 win at the top singles match, and Beuttell-Triggs closed out the match as he cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 victory.

The Saints improve to 6-7 overall, 3-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, while the Cardinals slip to 3-18 overall, 0-6 in the conference. Maryville closes out the regular season with a final league match at Truman State Tuesday, April 17.
