In its final regular season match, the Maryville men's tennis squad eased to a 6-1 triumph Monday at Truman State. The Saints take a three-game winning streak into the 2018 Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships Friday in Springfield, Mo.

The doubles teams lost just four games to sweep all three points. Juan Segura and Louis Glaves finished off an 8-4 victory at No. 1 doubles. Donovan McKnight and Fernando De Andres Orea did not drop a game in an 8-0 win at No. 2. Bodin Aleksic and Trey Barker also did not lose a game in another 8-0 sweep at the third doubles contest.

In singles action, Glaves won his No. 1 singles match 6-1, 6-1, while Jack Beuttell-Triggs notched a 6-0, 6-2 victory at No. 2. Orea claimed his win at No. 3 singles in a 6-2, 6-1 win.

The Saints are now 7-7 overall, 4-2 in the GLVC, while Truman State slips to 1-14 overall, 1-5 in the league.
