INDIANAPOLIS - The Maryville men's tennis team saw its run in the 2026 Great Lakes Valley Conference Tennis Tournament come to an end in the semifinals against top-seed Drury by a 4-2 score.

The Saints grabbed the early lead by winning the doubles point. The No. 1 doubles team
Michel Delaloye and
Diego Alvarez posted a 7-5 victory.
Jack Quilty and
Lorenzo Biava battled at No. 2 doubles but were edged out 6-4. At No. 3 doubles
Luca Morbioli and
Maksym Chernogorov won their clash by a 7-5 scoreline.

At No. 4 singles,
Diego Alvarez won in straight sets 6-3, 6-3. However, he was the only Saint able to pick up a point in singles.
Michel Delaloye pushed his match to three sets but did not finish, while at No. 5 singles Chernogorov won the opening set but lost in three.
