INDIANAPOLIS - The Maryville men's tennis squad defeated Quincy 4-2 in the opening round of the 2026 Great Lakes Valley Conference Tennis Tournament outside of Indianapolis Friday. The Saints advanced to take on Drury Saturday, May 2, at 9 am CT / 10 am ET at Center Grove High School.
 
Jack Quilty and Lorenzo Biava won their doubles match at No. 2 6-3, and a 6-3 win by Luca Morbioli and Maksym Chernogorov gave the Saints the first team point of the match.
 
In singles action, Michel Delaloye took a 6-4, 6-1 victory at No. 3, Chernogorov grabbed a straight set 6-1, 6-3 decision. Quilty claimed a 7-5, 2-6, 6-1 triumph as the Saints moved on in the tourney.
