Haley Downs put the Saints on the board seven minutes into the tilt.
Lexi Taylor tied the score at 2-2 with her first goal of the year less than two minutes later. The Wildcats rebuilt a two-score edge but
Madeline Heintz notched her first of the season to bring the Saints to 4-3. The teams traded goals with
Bri Laster tallying on a free-position shot. Trailing 6-4, the Saints accounted for the final two scores of the half. Martin brought Maryville to within one, and Devers tied the game 6-6.
