Claire Martin tallied her team-leading 14th goal of the season as the Maryville women's lacrosse team played at No. 12 Indianapolis Friday night. The Greyhounds scored the first five goals of the game before Martin put the Saints on the scoreboard. UIndy scored the next eight goals and eventually posted a 22-1 win over Maryville.

UIndy scored the first two times after taking control of the draw to take a 2-0 lead. After the Greyhounds scored for a 5-0 lead, Martin won the ensuing draw control. The Saints surged into the offense end and she fired the ball into the UIndy cage. The Greyhounds extended the lead to 15-1 at halftime, and the nationally-ranked UIndy squad kept the Saints off the scoreboard in the second half. The Saints took three shots in the second half but were unable to find a second score.

Tabatha Saake finished with 10 saves in the first half, while
Alyssa Graebner recorded seven in the second 30 minutes. The Saints are 1-11 on the season, 0-9 in the GLIAC. The Greyhounds improve to 11-1 overall, 7-0 in the league. Maryville closes its two-game road swing Sunday, April 7, at Ashland.
