The Maryville men's tennis team made it two-for-two in matches to start 2020 as it posted a 7-0 victory at William Jewell. The Saints swept the doubles matches and did not drop a set in singles play.

The Saints won the doubles point by taking the matches at No. 2 and No. 3.
Jack Beuttell-Triggs and
Bodin Aleksic won their second doubles match 6-4, while
Erik Aarthun and Fernando de Andres Orea teamed up for a 6-1 victory at No. 3 doubles.

Louis Glaves won his No. 1 singles match 6-0, 6-2, and Aleksic claimed a 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 2. Beuttell-Triggs took his third singles slot 6-3, 6-2.
Juan Segura won set one 6-3 but lost the second set. However, in the tiebreak, he emerged with a 10-4 win. At No. 5, de Andrea Orea won 6-3, 6-2, while
Donovan McKnight took his singles contest at No. 6 via a 7-6, 6-0 scoreline.

The Saints are not in action again until Wednesday, March 4, when they host Lake Superior State for a match.
