Mary Barton poured in 30 points, including a school-record 19-for-19 performance at the free-throw line, as the Maryville women's basketball team rallied in the fourth quarter for a 69-65 triumph over McKendree. Barton's 19 free throws also set a school record for makes in a game, while the team's 96.0 percent free throw percentage (24-of-25) broke the previous mark of 95.2 percent.

What Happened
McKendree held a 55-48 lead with 6:41 remaining before the Saints rallied with eight straight points to grab the advantage.
Jayda Jansen started the run with a three-point play, and she knocked down a 3-pointer to pull the Saints to 55-54 with 3:58 to play. The Maryville defense forced a turnover, and Barton drained two at the line to push the Saints back ahead 56-55 at the 3:14 mark.

McKendree made a 3-pointer to take its final lead of the game 58-56. Barton tied the game with two free throws. Jansen came up with a blocked shot on a 3-pointer, and Barton scored on a reverse layup for a 60-58 edge with 1:58 remaining. The Saints forced another miss, and Jansen drilled another 3-pointer for a 63-58 lead. The Bearcats made one late push but Barton sank six free throws in the final minute to seal the victory.

Jansen added 16 points while hitting three 3-pointers and six rebounds.
Hunter Stidham chipped in nine points, while
UU Longs finished with eight points.
