Lindenwood Recap
In the inaugural game at the new Maryville Athletic Complex for the Maryville men's lacrosse team, the Saints challenged undefeated Lindenwood but the No. 14 Lions pulled away late in an 18-9 nonconference victory. Ethan Olson scored a game-high five times and had one assist to pace the Maryville offense. William DeVinney made 18 saves in goal for the Saints.
 
What Happened
The Lions scored the first two goals before Olson fired in Maryville's first score. The Saints were down 4-1 until Ty Wenck pulled one goal back to cut the deficit to 4-2. Lindenwood took a 9-3 edge into halftime and scored the first goal in the third quarter. The Saints answered with three straight goals by Olson, including one on a man-up and another on a man-down situation, as Maryville closed to 10-5 with 4:43 left. However, the Lions sealed the win with the next five goals to stay undefeated on the year.
 
Olson finished with five goals en route to his six-point outing. Wenck tallied twice, while Justin Morgan and Jayden Fraser both found the back of the net once.
