Maryville University men's golfers Keenan Flemming (Sechelt, British Columbia), Brad Karpick (Cedar Rapids, Iowa / Xavier), Alex Locke (Springfield, Mo. / Glendale) and Jake Newman (Mission Viejo, Calif. / Mission Viejo) all earned Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars for 2019-20 as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
 
To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically. In addition, they must have a stroke-average under 78.0 in Division II and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. For 2019-20 only, they must have participated in 40% of the team's competitive rounds.
 
Flemming played in six tournaments and averaged 73.4 over 15 rounds to earn All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors. He finished in the top 10 on two occasions as in the top 20 in five of the six tournaments. Flemming recorded a sixth-place finish at the Dan Salisbury Tournament with a 141. He posted the best score of his career with a 66 in the final round at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational. Flemming also was chosen as Maryville's individual nominee for the Spalding Sportsmanship Award.
 
Over four tournaments and nine rounds, Karpick carded a scoring average of 77.78. His tied for 28th during the Arch Cup at Gateway National after back-to-back rounds of 76. Karpick recorded a 77 in the opening round of the NCAA Division II National Preview Tournament at the Country Club of St. Albans.
 
Locke averaged a school-record 72.67 stoke average over his 12-round season and posted a 0.83 average versus par. On the campaign, he posted seven rounds of par or better. Locke tied for the second best round in relation to par when he took medalist honors at the Bearcat Dual Gender Invitational with a final score of 137. His total broke the program record for lowest 54-hole score and helped the Saints break the three-round team scoring mark. Locke was selected the GLVC Men's Golf Player of the Week Oct. 24, 2019.
 
Newman posted a 73.2 average over his 15 rounds en route to recording three top-10 finishes on the season. He tied for second at the McKendree Bearcat Dual Gender tourney at 215. Newman posted one of the best scores in program history with a seven-under-par 137, including a round of 66, at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational. He earned All-GLVC honors in 2019-20.
