St. Louis – The Maryville volleyball team rolled to a 25-17, 25-13, 25-16 nonconference victory Monday over Webster.
Taylor Keck notched 10 kills to lead the offense, while
Taylor Hasbrook recorded a match-high 15 digs. Maryville's defense held Webster to just a .030 hitting percentage. The win is the ninth on the season for the Saints, the most in a year since the 2015 campaign.

What Happened
Set one was tied at 10-10 before the Saints surged ahead for good on a 4-0 burst.
Mikaela Kues had a kill, and Webster committed consecutive errors. A service ace by
Taylor Kehoe built a 14-10 edge. The Saints still led 19-16 but took control with four straight points.
Abbie Schnell tipped in a kill, and Kues followed. After an ace by Schnell,
Alyssa Koska's kill was good for a 23-16 lead and the Saints held on for the win.

Maryville slowly built up a 12-8 led in set two but ran away with a 7-0 run capped by back-to-back kills by
Avery Bell for a 19-8 lead. The Saints closed the set by scoring the last four points of the set, including two straight aces by
Skylar Lukowych.

The Saints took command early in set three by scoring the first five points. Following a WU miscue, Hasbrook served an ace. Kues had two kills sandwiched around a kill by
Ella Kosky for a 5-0 advantage. Webster closed the gap but the Saints responded with four straight points to take a 11-6 lead. Maryville kept the edge and tallied the final four points of the game.
