St. Louis, Mo. – The Maryville women's soccer team battled Indianapolis to a 1-1 draw on Senior Day Sunday at Maryville Field. Lexi Gentry pulled the Saints level in the 65th minute in the ninth overtime game of the season for Maryville.

The Run of Play – The Greyhounds grabbed an early lead as Uma Yadav coverted for a 1-0 in the eighth minute of play. Amanda Kaltwasser had the best scoring chance for the Saints but was denied in the 28th minute.
 
In the second half, Gentry had two good scoring opportunities but misfired on one and had a second saved by the UIndy keeper. However, she converted on her third good chance. Kaltwasser and Roni Norwood strung two passes up the right side, and Gentry rifled the shot home for a 1-1 tie in the 65th minute. Both teams had solid chances to win it but the game moved into overtime.
 
In the first OT, Gentry nearly won it with a hard shot from the top of the 18, and she was stymied on another late in overtime. UIndy almost ended the game but Elyse Waterhouse came up with a save in the waning minutes to preserve the 1-1 tie.
