The Maryville women's tennis team ran its record to 2-0 with a dominating 7-1 win at Quincy Friday night. The Saints swept all three doubles matches and four of the five singles contests.

The Saints worked for a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles via
Maria Paula Suarez and
Georgina Cupper. At the No. 2 match
Emily Orlove and Carolina Valezquez cruised to a 6-1 win, while.
Ashley Dowden and
Maria Gouveia took a 6-2 decision.

Cupper won her match in the second slot 6-3, 6-1. Orlove triumphed at No. 4 by a 6-2, 6-1 scoreline, and Gouveia eased to a 6-2, 6-3 win. Dowden closed out the match by rolling to a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at the sixth positon.

The Saints return to the court Wednesday, March 3, with a match at Webster beginning at 6 p.m.
