The Maryville women's tennis team rolled to a 9-0 victory at Webster University on a cool and windy night in Webster Groves, Mo. The doubles teams only dropped four games, while the singles lineup lost just seven games as the Saints improved to 3-0 on the season.
 
Emily Orlove and 
Carolina Velazquez eased to an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles. 
Georgina Cupper and 
Maria Paula Suarez shut out their No. 2 doubles opponents 8-0. In the final doubles match, 
Ashley Dowden and 
Maria Gouveia recorded a triumph via an 8-1 scoreline.
 
Suarez won 6-0, 6-1 at the top singles slot, while Cupper cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 decision at No. 2. Orlove took her match at No. 3 6-1, 6-0, and Valazquez won 6-0, 6-1 in the fourth singles position. Dowden won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5, while Gouveia won by the exact same scoreline in the sixth single match.
 
The Saints take a break and do not return to the court until Friday, March 19, when they play at William Jewell.
