Will Holan, the Maryville men's golf team is in third place after 36 holes at the Findlay Spring Invitational. The duo both sit at 142 to pace the Saints to a two-round total of 285-287=572. Maryville is only two shots out of second place in the field of 17, which includes four ranked teams, at the tournament hosted by University Club of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky.

Karpick fired a scintillating career best round of 68 and followed up with a 74 to sit in a tie for 10th place. Holan, this week's Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Golf Player of the Week, opened with a round of 69 and carded a 73 in round two to also shoot 142.

Alex Locke had a steady round and put up 14 pars and two birdies en route to an opening 72, and he bested that by one shot in round two to tie for 14th overall at 143.
Austin Fauser added a 76 in the first round but posted Maryville's best round two score with a 69 to sit at 145.
Max Floyd came home with an 80 in round one but trimmed six shots of his total in round two for a 154.

No. 9 Indianapolis leads the team standings after posting a score of 282-277=559, while Grand Valley State is 11 shots behind at 570 and only two strokes ahead of the Saints. UIndy's Keegan Bronnenberg and Grand Valley State's Drew Coble are tied for the individual lead at 138. The par 72 course is playing to 6,859 yards for the tournament which concludes Tuesday morning.
