Colorado State-Pueblo Recap
Jessie Hynes scored three times, and Lexi Taylor tallied twice but Colorado State-Pueblo defeated Maryville 17-7 in women's lacrosse action Friday at Maryville Field.
 
What Happened
The Thunderwolves scored the first two goals of the game before Hynes pulled one score back. Just over two minutes later, Julia Banfield found the back of the net to tie the game. CSUP went on a 4-0 run before Taylor made the score 6-3.
 
Taylor scored again early in the second half to bring the Saints back to within 8-4. However, CSUP added another 4-0 run to extend its margin. Hynes ripped in a goal midway through the half to end the Thunderwolves run. She and Katie Von Mecklenburg added scores for the Saints in the waning minutes.
