Southern Indiana edged Maryville 4-3 in men's tennis action Saturday in Evansville, Ind.

Juan Segura and
Sebastian Trigosso won their match at No. 1 doubles by a 6-3 decision. However, USI took the remaining two doubles contests to earn the team point.

Jack Beuttell-Triggs rolled to a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 1, and
Bodin Aleksic earned a 6-3, 7-6 win at the No. 2 spot. Segura took his match at No. 3 by a 6-3, 7-5 decision. However, the Screaming Eagles won the decisive singles meeting which tilted the match in USI's favor by one point.

The Saints are next in action when they start a four-match home stand by hosting Indianapolis Friday, April 16, for a 2 p.m. match at Dwight Davis Tennis Center.
