The Maryville men's tennis team battled No. 5 Indianapolis but the Greyhounds wound up taking all seven matches played at Dwight Davis Tennis Center Friday afternoon.

At No. 1 doubles,
Juan Segura and
Sebastian Trigosso pushed the match to the final game but UIndy prevailed 6-4.
Jack Beuttell-Triggs and
Bodin Aleksic did the same at No. 3 but also lost a 6-4 decision as UIndy won the doubles point.

In singles play, Beuttell-Triggs won the opening set at No. 1 but saw his opponent to rally to take the final two sets. At No. 2, Aleksic also took the first set but UIndy took the final two sets. Segura and Trigosso both claimed six games apiece but were unable to win a set.

The Saints (4-5, 2-4) are back in action Saturday as they host Lewis for an 11 a.m. match at Dwight Davis Tennis Center in Forest Park.
