Hosting the nation's top team, Maryville women's tennis fell short as the Greyhounds posted a 7-0 win Friday afternoon at Dwight Davis Tennis Center.

The visitors claimed the doubles point as the Saints were able to win three games. In singles action,
Emily Orlove won four games in the first set but lost her match at No. 5 6-4, 6-1.
Maria Gouveia took three games in her contest but fell short 6-1, 6-2. The Greyhounds won the other three singles matches and took one via a retirement.

The Saints suffer only their second loss of the season and stand at 5-2, 3-2 in the GLVC. Maryville is back in action Saturday, April 17, when Lewis comes to town for an 11 a.m. match.
