Jessie Hynes racked up a career-high four goals but the Maryville women's lacrosse team dropped a 13-7 decision to Missouri Western Friday afternoon at the Maryville Athletic Complex. She has scored at least three goals in a game five times this season.
Lexi Taylor added two scores for the Saints.

What Happened
Down 1-0, Taylor took a feed from
Claire Martin and tied the game at the 26:35 mark. The Griffons built a 3-2 lead before Hynes tallied her first of the afternoon. However, the visitors tacked on five more scores to build an 8-2 lead by halftime.

Hynes scored early after the break to trim the deficit to five.
Skyler Jolie found the back of the next midway through the second half as the Saints tallied three of the next four goals. Hynes registered her hat trick with just under 13 minutes left to play, and Taylor followed and tallied her second. Hynes slid in her fourth score of the game but the Saints never got any closer.
