No. 14 Indianapolis scored with 7.5 seconds left to edge No. 12 Maryville in the back half of a home-and-home series between the nationally ranked men's lacrosse teams. The Greyhounds scored a man-up goal for the game winner.
Jake Foster led the Saints with four goals.
What Happened
The Saints jumped on top early with three goals to open the tilt.

Jacob Allen and Foster all tallied in the first six minutes of the game. UIndy scored three straight goals to tie the game at 3-3 at the end of the first quarter. The Greyhounds scored two more goal to take the lead before Foster found the net again to pull Maryville to 5-4 at halftime.

Ethan Olson opened the third quarter with a score to forge at 5-5 tie. The teams traded scores before UIndy took an 8-6 advantage. Foster completed a hat trick as he found the back of the net at the 9:58 mark. The Saints forced a turnover and he tied the score 8-8 with a goal with 4:29 remaining. The teams traded possessions looking for the lead but UIndy took over with 61 seconds left in the game. The Saints were called for a penalty and went a man-down with 29.5 seconds left in the game. UIndy converted for the game-winning goal in the dying seconds of the contest.

Playing near his hometown,
Nick Tomalia recorded 11 saves in the cage. The Saints won 17-of-21 at the dot, including
Cooper George winning nine of 10 faceoffs.
