Braden Johnson produced a late equalizer during Thursday night's Maryville University men's soccer exhibition match with Central Methodist University, resulting in a 1-1 draw.

The Run of Play – The Saints defense was busy in the first half against the Eagles. Goalkeeper
Liam Walraven kept the game scoreless through 45 minutes with five saves.

The No. 3 ranked NAIA school jumped on the scoreboard first after converting a penalty kick in the 56
th minute. The Saints answered in the 70
th minute with a corner kick whipped in by
Carter Reiss that Johnson placed in the back of the net, making the score 1-1.

Bryce Dickerson had a chance in the 90
th minute to break the tie, but the shot was saved by the Eagles keeper and the match ended 1-1.
